According to a post shared on X, Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna’s office received a “serious shooting threat” on Wednesday — just days after the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump.

“My office has received a very serious shooting threat,” Luna said in a post to her personal account on X. “This division and hate campaign against Republicans is going to get someone killed. I will not be threatened, intimidated, or bow down to those using violence as a means to push their agenda. We will win.”

Luna added, “America is the greatest country in the world. I will continue to fight for the wonderful people who have elected me as well as those across the country that feel that they are being left behind. Please keep my family in your prayers. Hate has no place here.”

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) responded to Luna, saying, “We are right there with you. It’s OUT OF CONTROL.”

Popular conservative influencer “DC Draino,” said the shooting threat “just days after” Trump nearly got assassinated was “unacceptable.” He added, “They’re trying to kill anyone who actually gives a damn about saving this country.”

Luna is running for re-election in Florida’s 13th Congressional District for another two-year term. She will face off against Democrat challenger Whitney Fox in the November election.
