According to a Mediaite report, former RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel has signed on to be a political analyst at NBC News.
From Mediaite:
In addition to providing commentary for NBC, McDaniel will also appear on MSNBC for coverage during the 2024 election season.
The New York Times first reported the news. The Times quoted an internal NBC memo in which Carrie Budoff Brown, who is in charge of political coverage for NBC News, said, “It couldn’t be a more important moment to have a voice like Ronna’s on the team,” and the former RNC chair would provide “an insider’s perspective on national politics and the future of the Republican Party.”
McDaniel announced that she was stepping down from her position as chair of the RNC in late February. She was replaced by co-chairs Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump, and Michael Whatley.
