Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) went after Dr. Anthony Fauci on the Hill on Monday during a hearing on the origins of COVID-19 and Fauci’s role in the response to the pandemic.
MTG accused Fauci of abusing animals, abusing his power, and she refused to call him “doctor.”
“You’re not ‘Doctor,’ you’re ‘Mr.’ Fauci in my few minutes,” she said.
“You should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity,” she added in closing. “You belong in prison, Dr. Fauci.”
MTG shared the clip of her exchange with Fauci on X, saying “I let Anthony Fauci know exactly how the American people feel about his crimes against humanity. Mr. Fauci should be prosecuted and thrown in jail.”
