Biden Claims He Protected U.S. Sovereignty From China After Allowing Chinese Spy Balloon To Fully Traverse The Country

By Eric Bolling Staff

During Democrat President Joe Biden’s second State of the Union address on Tuesday night, he claimed that he has protected the United States’ sovereignty from China despite allowing a Chinese spy balloon to cross the entire country last week.

Biden’s comments began by claiming that his administration has stopped China’s growth as an international power – despite the fact that China has reportedly accelerated its military development and plans to invade Taiwan since Biden took office.

“Before I came to office, the story was about how the People’s Republic of China was increasing its power and America was falling in the world,” Biden said. “Not anymore. I’ve made clear with President Xi that we seek competition, not conflict.”

“I will make no apologies that we are investing to make America strong,” he continued. “Investing in American innovation, in industries that will define the future, and that China’s government is intent on dominating.”

“Today, we’re in the strongest position in decades to compete with China or anyone else in the world,” he claimed. “But make no mistake: as we made clear last week, if China threatens our sovereignty, we will act to protect our country. And we did.”

It should be noted that how Biden made his comments “clear last week” was by allowing a Chinese spy balloon to fully traverse the United States before being shot down a week after it was initially detected over the ocean to the West of Alaska.
