During a campaign stop in Big Rapids, Michigan this week, VP candidate JD Vance blasted Kamala Harris for promising to fix the country on “Day One.”

“Kamala, I hate to break it to you, but ‘Day One’ was 1300 days ago. You’ve been Vice President for three and a half years, what the hell have you been doing during all that time?” Vance asked.

“The message from this crowd and this state of Michigan is: you had your chance, you FAILED and we’re not giving you a promotion,” he continued, adding, “And Donald J. Trump is coming back to clean up your mess, Kamala Harris, and it’s going to start right here in the state of Michigan.”

Vance also posted on X to remind Americans what Kamala actually did on “Day One.”

“Kamala Harris opened the border on day one. Now Americans are dying at record numbers from fentanyl. She cast the deciding vote on the inflation explostion act. Now families can’t afford groceries or rent. She won’t do an interview because she can’t explain this record.”

Kamala has since scheduled her first interview with CNN’s Dana Bash — a pre-tapped sit-down.
