'With You As Long As You Need': Trump in Georgia Helping Hurricane Helene Victims, Working With Musk to Setup Starlink [Watch]

Former President Donald Trump is down in Georgia today meeting with those impacted by Hurricane Helene, handing out supplies, and surveying the damage caused by severe flooding and winds.

“We came down with truckloads of different items, from oil to water. We’re here today to stand with complete solidarity with the people of Georgia and all those suffering in the terrible aftermath of Hurricane Helene,” Trump told the press.

Trump also confirmed he spoke with Elon Musk about using Starlink to restore communications to areas affected by the hurricane; “Elon will always come through,” he said, telling the community that he will be there “as long as you need.”

Conservative commentator Benny Johnson called the moment “INCREDIBLE.”

President Trump says he is in communication with @elonmusk to get Starlink set up for the hurricane victims who have lost all communication.”

When asked about President Biden, Trump took a jab at the aging POTUS, saying he’s probably “sleeping.”

Many conservatives voiced their support for the former president and thanked him on X.
