“Day one?” Really?
During Monday’s audio-only Air Force One press briefing, Deputy Press Secretary Olivia Dalton and FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell answered questions regarding the Biden Administration’s response to the horrific wildfires in Maui —and they spun quite a yarn.
Criswell was asked about how Biden feels about the response and, apparently, he’s “satisfied.”
"Can you give us a sense of how the president believes the [Maui wildfires] response has been so far?"

Despite Biden taking two weeks to go to Maui, Deputy Press Secretary Olivia Dalton is hammering home the point that Biden has been there “since day one.”

Biden was seen board Air Force One early Monday to head to Maui.
MSNBC reports that residents of the island are unhappy with the White House’s response —Biden, in particular.
