Only five hostages have gone free since Hamas’ horrifying terrorist attack against Israeli citizens on October 7th —the worst attack against Jews since the Holocaust. Approximately 200 hostages remain in the hands of Hamas; the families of those still being held addressed the American people on Tuesday.
“I want to thank everyone here for having us, for the American government that helps us,” one Israeli, whose brother is believed to be a hostage, said Tuesday during a press conference with House Republican leadership on Capitol Hill. “But it is not enough. We need help now. We don’t know what is their condition.
“This is a call for action and this is a wake-up call not only for Israel, not only for the Jewish community. This is a wake-up call for all of you here, all of America, all of Europe. You are next. You are next. And we should do everything that we can to stop these atrocities to come ever again. We need to remember the 7th of October and do whatever we can to stop this.”
