Footage has surfaced of President Biden telling the story about the time his house caught fire after lightning hit his pond —and this version isn’t exactly like the one he told to the Maui wildfire survivors.
The video, which was from last October, has Biden claiming several firefighters almost died while attempting to put out the fire and three levels of his house were ruined.
“From the basement to the third floor, the attic, everything was ruined. We almost lost a couple of firefighters because the kitchen floor was burning between the beams. It almost collapsed into the basement.”
