Former President and 2024 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump reacted on Friday to news that New York Attorney General Letitia James is seeking $370 million from the former POTUS in his highly-publicized New York City civil fraud trial.
The attorney general argues, “The conclusion that defendants intended to defraud when preparing and certifying Trump’s SFCs is inescapable.”
“The myriad deceptive schemes they employed to inflate asset values and conceal facts were so outrageous that they belie innocent explanation,” James wrote on Friday.
Trump took to TRUTH Social to unload on James and the “DOJ witch-hunt.”
