'Troubling Sign' For Joe: Donald Trump More Than Doubles Support Among Black Voters [Watch]

By Eric Bolling Staff

Amid plummeting support from Black voters, President Biden is readying a new push to regain the support of a demographic he can’t afford to lose.

“He has to answer two questions: Why go out and bother to vote, which is almost the same question of what’s in it for me for voters,” said Biden campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond. “And then he has to answer the Janet Jackson test of – ‘What have you done for me lately?’”

News of Biden’s renewed push to gain Black support comes as polls show GOP opponent Donald Trump surging in popularity with Black Americans.

CNN’s senior analyst Harry Enten shared some historical data this week.

“Look at this number for Donald Trump: 22%. Where was Donald Trump just four years ago in the polls? He was at just 9% of the vote. So he’s seen more than a doubling in support among African Americans. This margin which was in the 70s just for years ago — look at where it is now? That puts it in the 40s!” Enten said.

“If this held through the general election, this would be BY FAR the best performance for a Republican among Black voters in two generations.”
