President Biden is taking Monday off.
Today marks President Joe Biden’s 356th day off as he outpaces nearly every other president in U.S. history for time spent away from the Oval Office.
From GOP.com:
Of course, it’s not unusual for Biden — who has spent 39.2% of his presidency on vacation — to retreat in the face of controversy. But is Biden really the most frequentvacationer-in-chief in modern history?
The answer is an unequivocal “yes.” In fact, Biden has spent 354 days on vacation since taking office, including all or part of:
- 237 days in Delaware (188 days in Wilmington and 49 days in Rehoboth Beach).
- 91 days at Camp David.
- 26 days at other destinations (12 days in Nantucket, seven days in Kiawah Island, SC, and seven days in the U.S. Virgin Islands).
Biden’s energy levels and physical fitness were called into question last week when he failed to attend the NATO summit dinner. The White House said it was due to Joe’s ongoing workload.
A White House official told Fox News Digital that the NATO event was a social dinner, and said that the president was in the midst of “four full days of official business abroad, including back-to-back summit meetings and a major speech.”
