'THE SWAMP HAS CLAIMED THEIR QUEEN': Team Trump Reacts to Nikki Haley's D.C. Primary Win

GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley won the Washington D.C. primary on Sunday, taking 62.8 percent of the vote to Trump’s 33.3 percent; It’s her first primary victory of the 2024 election cycle.

Team Trump reacted on X, claiming Haley’s win is more proof she is the “Queen of the Swamp.”

“Tonight’s results in Washington D.C. reaffirm the object of President Trump’s campaign — he will drain the swamp and put America first,” Trump press secretary Karoline Leavitt wrote on X. “While Nikki has been soundly rejected throughout the rest of America, she was just crowned Queen of the Swamp by the lobbyists and DC insiders that want to protect the failed status quo. The swamp has claimed their queen. President Trump will fight for every American who is being let down by these very DC insiders and devastated by Joe Biden’s failures.”

Team Trump also released an official statement, saying Haley has been crowned “Queen of the Swamp.”

“While Nikki has been soundly rejected throughout the rest of America, she was just crowned Queen of the Swamp by the lobbyists and DC insiders that want to protect the failed status quo. The Swamp has claimed their Queen,” the statement read.

Haley shared the following message after her D.C. win:

“Republicans closest to Washington’s dysfunction know that Donald Trump has brought nothing but chaos and division for the past 8 years. It’s time to start winning again and move our nation forward!”
