During a recent budget hearing, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin confirmed U.S. intelligence agencies don’t have any evidence that Israel is committing genocide in the Gaza Strip.
“We don’t have any evidence of genocide being [committed]” by Israel in Gaza, Austin told the Senate Armed Services Committee, where his testimony was interrupted several times by protesters.
The Biden Administration has faced strong opposition to its support of Israel in the wake of the horrific terror attacks on October 7th carried out by Hamas.
During a handful of primary contests earlier this month, voters protested Biden’s support of Israel by voting “Uncommitted” instead of for Joe.
The disgruntled voters — in addition to the introduction of a strong third-party candidate in RFK Jr. — may be enough to tip more than a handful of swing states into the hands of former President Donald Trump.
