Despite the left’s attempt to sink it, Sound of Freedom is a big success.
According to a report from Breitbart News, Sound of Freedom, the indie film about one man’s fight against child sex trafficking, has soared past $40 million dollars at the box office. When examining the per-screen average, it’s outperforming supposed summer blockbusters like Indiana Jones.
Dial of Destiny is playing in 4,600 theaters, compared to just 2,852 for Sound of Freedom.
“Budgeted at just $14.5 million, Sound of Freedom started making millions the moment it crossed $25 to $30 million. And it’s just getting started. With an A+ Cinemascore and the corporate media’s desperate and insulting attacks, word of mouth is all set up to be phenomenal. Sound of Freedom should also clean up on home media,” Breitbart reports.
The film is doing incredibly well, even while sitting squarely in the left’s crosshairs.
From OutKick:
“Sound of Freedom” takes no political stances. It evokes God a time or two, but it’s hardly a “faith-based” thriller. It’s timely, upsetting and, according to audiences, a must-see experience.
The film even sports a respectable 76 percent “Fresh” at RottenTomatoes. com from professional critics.
That’s only part of the story.
Some media organs have taken cartoonishly unprofessional stances against the film. The Guardian, a respectable progressive outlet, published a column on the film that gives new meaning to the word, “screed.”
“Sound of Freedom: the QAnon-adjacent thriller seducing America,” reads the headline.
The free speech averse Rolling Stone doubled down on that hysteria., going so far as to mock the film’s audience in the process.
“‘Sound Of Freedom’ Is a Superhero Movie for Dads With Brainworms,” screams the headline.
Tim Ballard, the former DHS Agent the film is based on, fired back at lefty critics.
“It’s embarrassing and frankly, grotesque for this guy who knows nothing to start throwing out terms like QAnon and connecting it to a real story,” said Ballard.
