A Democrat no longer…
Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced on Monday that he will leave the Democratic Party in order to run as an independent, third-party candidate.
“I’m going to ask people, what do you care about?” said Kennedy. “What do your children need? What is it like to be you? What do you love?”
RFK vowed to pursue an agenda that “puts peace and diplomacy first,” would “close the loopholes that bloat our budget” and “rescue debtors instead of the banks.”

Kennedy’s own family blasted him on Twitter, saying his values were not in line with the rest of the family.
Bobby might share the same name as our father, but he does not share the same values, vision or judgment. Today's announcement is deeply saddening for us. We denounce his candidacy and believe it to be perilous for our country. @roryekennedy @joekennedy @KKT_Kennedy pic.twitter.com/WJfGwSxN1z
