According to an NBC News report, President Biden’s family has discussed what a possible exit might look like for Joe as pressure mounts for the aging POTUS to step aside. On the other hand, the White House is denying reports that Biden plans to leave.

Will Biden insist on running for one more term? or is his exit announcement imminent?

From NBC News:

Biden’s family members have specifically discussed how he would want to end his re-election bid on his own timing and with a carefully calculated plan in place. Considerations about the impact of the campaign on his health, his family and the stability of the country are among those at the forefront of the discussions, the people familiar with those discussions said.

The prospect of Biden’s considering stepping aside, much less that his family is gaming out a possible exit plan, is an extraordinary development that comes after he has repeatedly said he would not relinquish his position as the presumptive nominee of the party.

Meanwhile, Biden spox Andrew Bates replied to the NBC News report on X, simply saying “Wrong. Keep the Faith.” Bates also replied “No” to another X post suggesting Biden would announce he’s stepping aside.

“Most every reporter we deal with is good about this as they go about their important and difficult jobs. But for the outliers, a polite reminder: *we* are aware that *you* are aware that you have a responsibility to come to us for comment *before* publishing,” he said in a separate X post. “Appreciate y’all.”
