According to a new poll from Rasmussen Reports, more than half of Americans oppose Hunter Biden’s plea deal for tax and gun crimes —and more than two-thirds believe he received special treatment.
“The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 55% of Likely U.S. Voters disapprove of the deal in which Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty on charges that he violated federal tax and gun laws, including 41% who Strongly Disapprove. Thirty-seven percent (37%) approve of the plea bargain, including 19% who Strongly Approve,” Rasmussen reports.

67% of respondents said it was “somewhat” or “very likely” that Hunter Biden received special treatment because his father is president.
IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley confirmed Hunter Biden’s special treatment during a recent interview with CBS News.
“We have to make sure as a special agent for IRS Criminal Investigation that we treat every single person exactly the same,” said Gary Shapley, a 14-year veteran of the agency, who spoke exclusively to CBS News chief investigative correspondent Jim Axelrod on Tuesday. “And that just simply didn’t happen here.”
