Mitch Malfunctions: Minority Leader Stares Blankly for 20 Seconds, Escorted Away [Watch]

An odd moment was captured on the Hill on Wednesday as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell appeared to freeze up while delivering remarks at a press conference with fellow Senate Republicans; he was escorted away.

South Dakota Republican Sen. John Thune continued the press conference.

McConnell suffered a serious fall earlier this year and got a concussion. No word on whether that event has anything to do with the Leader’s trouble. McConnell ultimately returned to the press conference, telling people he felt “fine.”
