Did John Kerry just fart at the climate conference?
In a now-viral clip of John Kerry speaking onstage at the Health Day Opening Session at Al Waha Theatre during the UN Climate Change Conference COP28, Biden’s climate envoy seemingly farts loudly during his remarks.
“There shouldn’t be any more coal-fired power plants permitted anywhere in the world,” Kerry began before launching into an anti-coal diatribe.
“I find myself getting more and more militant because I do not understand how adults who are in a position of responsibility can be avoiding responsibility for taking away those things that are killing people on a daily basis…”
At this point, a loud noise can be heard erupting over the microphone; Becky Anderson, managing editor of CNN Abu Dhabi, turns her head and brings her finger to her nose.
