While Special Counsel Robert Hur concluded President Joe Biden should not be charged for his mishandling of classified documents, Hur’s report had enough damning language to sink Biden’s reelection, all the same.
Hur referred to Biden as an “elderly man with a poor memory” and highlighted specific instances during interviews where Joe didn’t remember when he was Vice President or when his son Beau died.
The blowback was brutal and immediate. It was so bad, that Biden was forced to speak to the press about the situation Thursday night — and it only made matters worse.
While defending his mental fitness, Biden referred to Egyptian leader Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as the “President of Mexico.”
“As you know, initially, the President of Mexico, El-Sisi, did not want to open up the gate” to Gaza, Biden told reporters.

Biden got aggressive with reporters questioning his mental ability, at one point screaming “That’s your judgment!”

Biden also insisted he did not share classified information, even though Special Counsel Hur concluded that he did but that he was too old and mentally diminished to be tried for it.

The presser was so bad, even CNN had to admit the White House is now dealing with a “five-alarm fire.”
“They were using this bizarre line to say he stepped away from an international crisis, the biggest attack on our ally Israel since the Holocaust, to go deal with a self-inflicted investigation by the Department of Justice,” Griffin said. “How is that supposed to inspire confidence? I don’t know why he went back out. He already said most of this in Virginia. This is becoming a five-alarm fire for the White House.”
