While filing for the New Hampshire presidential primary on Monday, former President and 2024 GOP candidate Donald Trump was asked about the current state of the House Speaker race.
“I said there’s only one person who can do it all the way. You know who that is? Jesus Christ,” Trump said. “If Jesus came down and said ‘I want to be Speaker’ he would do it.”
“I think we’ll have someone pretty soon,” Trump added.
