Texas Rep. Chip Roy says he’s pressuring Harvard President Claudine Gay to resign after she failed to outright condemn antisemitism on her campus in the wake of the October 7th terror attacks in Israel.
“I am for pressuring her to resign,” Roy posted Wednesday to X. “I am glad this is all being highlighted … but what rock have folks been living under? This is just one obvious example of what these ‘elite’ universities have become … will we stop giving them blank checks?!
“Will alumni stop giving them money?”

From Newsmax:
The resignation calls began with Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., after she made them during an open House hearing with three university presidents, which included Gay saying that condemning antisemitism on campuses “depends on the context.”
“🚨🚨🚨Presidents of @Harvard @MIT and @Penn REFUSE to say whether ‘calling for the genocide of Jews’ is bullying and harassment according to their codes of conduct. Even going so far to say it needs to turn to ‘action’ first. As in committing genocide,” Stefanik posted Tuesday to X, adding video of her hearing with the university leaders.
“THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND ANTISEMITIC. They must all resign immediately today.”
