Citing a New York Post article on Friday, Team Trump hit Joe Biden for being the candidate of choice for illegal migrants crossing the U.S. southern border.
The Post referred to interviews that The Free Press conducted with several migrants waiting to cross the southern border.
“If it’s Trump, it doesn’t matter how much I work or want to work. They won’t let me in,” Richard Betancourt, 46, a pipefitter from Venezuela, told The Free Press.
Added Daniel Cortez, 45, a mechanic from Honduras: “I want Biden to win.”
Both were in Matamoros, Mexico, waiting to cross the border.
From NEWSMAX:
Immigration is a hot-button issue heading into the election, with many Americans calling it the most important problem facing the U.S., according to a Gallup poll released in February.
The surge in border crossings has led to financial constraints for some large cities, including Denver, Chicago, New York, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C., according to Axios.
The Save America PAC quoted Rodney Scott, who served as Border Patrol chief in the Trump and Biden administrations, in its email to supporters.
Scott in February told Fox News: “We handed them the most secure border in the history of the United States and a roadmap to keep it that way and make it even better. Through 94 executive actions, President Biden completely destroyed border security.”
The official GOP X account highlighted the stark differences between Biden and Trump.
