According to a U.S. Agriculture Department report this week, ten million Americans have fallen into food insecurity under President Joe Biden as inflation is still affecting everyday household items.
44.2 million Americans were living in food-insecure households in 2022, compared to 33.8 million the year before —a terrible statistic for a White House touting the success of Bidenomics.
“From 2021 to 2022, there were statistically significant increases in food insecurity and very low food security for nearly all subgroups of households described in this report,” USDA reported Wednesday.
“In 2022, the typical food-secure household spent 15 percent more on food than the typical food-insecure household of the same size and household composition,” the report noted.

Biden has toured the country boasting that his Bidenomics plan has been a success, even as poverty and now hunger have exploded on his watch.
Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said the new report was a cause for alarm.
“These findings are unacceptable, yet the report is the latest piece of evidence that as the pandemic began to wane in 2022, another public health concern — food insecurity— increased,” Vilsack said.
