An active shooter was reported at Iowa’s Perry High School early Thursday, police have confirmed. According to The New York Post, heavily armed law enforcement swarmed the school, about 40 miles from Des Moines, following reports of an active shooting situation just after 7:40 a.m.
Footage from the scene was shared widely on social media.
