Former President Donald Trump has been held in contempt for violating the gag order in his NYC criminal hush-money case. The presiding judge, Judge Juan Merchan, is fining Trump $9,000.
Merchan also threatened Trump with “incarceratory punishment” if “necessary and appropriate” should Trump continue to violate the gag order.
In a small bit of good news for Trump, Merchan will allow him to attend son Barron’s graduation on May 17th.
