Matt Gaetz (R-FL) speaks to reporters during a break in the closed-door deposition of Hunter Biden, son of U.S. President Joe Biden, in front of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, and House Judiciary Committee in the O'Neill House Office Building on February 28, 2024 in Washington, DC. Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz hit the House floor this week to blast the Biden Administration’s ‘latest boondoggle in foreign policy” — the Gaza aid pier.

“This time, it’s the decision we’ve made to become the port authority of Gaza. This pier has been a debacle. At a cost of $320 million dollars, in two weeks we have not even one thousand metric tons of food aid.

Gaetz shared the clip on X.

“The Biden administration’s pier in Gaza has been a debacle! At a cost of $320 MILLION, we can only use it to deliver 7,000 metric tons of food. This means EACH POUND costs American taxpayers $20,730 dollars! Remember that the next time you think your grocery bills are too high under Joe Biden.”

Watch the clip below:

The Gaza aid pier was constructed by the Biden Administration to placate the far-left members of his party; it has been in various degrees of operation due to bad weather.
