Oh, Kamala — there are clips of you everywhere saying it…
During Tuesday night’s presidential debate, Kamala Harris was asked about her propensity for flip-flopping on major policy positions like fracking. Instead of some line about how her positions have evolved, Harris doubled down on her “values” narrative and insisted she’s been “very clear” on fracking.
“Vice President Harris, in your last run for president, you said you wanted to ban fracking, now you don’t. You wanted mandatory government buyback programs for assault weapons, now you don’t. You said you wanted to decriminalize border crossings, now you’re taking a harder line,” moderator Linsey Davis said, adding “I know you say your values have not changed, so why have so many of your policy positions changed?”
Harris replied: “In particular, let’s talk about fracking because we’re here in Pennsylvania. I made that very clear in 2020. I will not ban fracking. I have not banned fracking as Vice President of the United States.”

Harris is right — she was “very clear” about her fracking stance — and her desire to ban it.

Kamala Harris is literally on video saying that there was “no question” that she would ban fracking.
