Flipping accents on a dime…
Presidential candidate Kamala Harris raised eyebrows over the holiday weekend for using different accents in different cities for the same speech; “She’s turned into Foghorn Leghorn,” one X user said, comparing Kamala to the popular cartoon character.
“You better thank a union member for the five-day work week,” Harris told the crowd with a noticeable shift in her dialect. “You better thank a union member for sick leave. You better thank a union member for paid leave. You better thank a union member for vacation time.”
