Former President Donald Trump hit TRUTH Social to dispel the rumors that a third indictment was imminent in the Jan. 6 investigation; “Do not trust the Fake News on anything,” Trumps said.
“My attorneys had a productive meeting with the DOJ this morning, explaining in detail that I did nothing wrong, was advised by many lawyers, and that an Indictment of me would only further destroy our Country. No indication of notice was given during the meeting — Do not trust the Fake News on anything!”
Earlier reports suggested that an indictment was on the way for Trump for the role he played in the Jan. 6 demonstrations at the Capitol more than two years ago.
Trump also shared a poll showing his double-digit lead over the rest of the GOP field.
