While delivering remarks on Moscow’s release of hostages Paul Whelan and Evan Gershkovich at the White House on Thursday, President Biden was asked about Donald Trump’s claim that he could have gotten them free without giving anything to Vladimir Putin.
Joe had a bizarre answer.
“President Trump has said repeatedly that he could’ve gotten the hostages out without giving anything in exchange…” one reporter began to ask Biden.
“Why didn’t he do it when he was president?” Biden shot back, not realizing that two of the three hostages released were captured under the Biden-Harris Administration.
