Republican lawmakers reacted to the bombshell backlog — many blasting the Biden Administration for creating the crisis and calling for mass deportations.

“If each ICE worker worked 10 hours 6 days per week, that means they work 3,120 hours the entire year.” Goergia Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene said on X. “With over 7,000 cases EACH, that means they have less than 30 minutes to give to each case!!! And that’s beyond humanly possible. We have to DEPORT!!!”

Texas Rep. Chip Roy said, “We’ve known this is coming. Yet here we are. We either mean what we say that we must secure the border & stop a government weaponized against us – or, talk a lot & primary / oppose those who do… >#TakeBackAmerica #DetainTurnawayDeport.”

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Rep. Mark Green (R-IN) issued a statement on the staggering number, saying “Would-be border crossers around the world are making a bet that if they cross under this administration, they will be released into the interior. These numbers show that’s usually a winning wager.”
