Former President Donald Trump’s bond is set at $200,000 in the Georgia election case, according to a Newsmax report; he has been ordered to surrender to authorities in the state of Georgia, where he faces charges for racketeering related to allegations he tried to overturn the 2020 election.
From Newsmax:
The former president of the United States — who claims it is all a political witch hunt — has been arrested three times in recent months, and so far he has avoided the indignity of a mugshot.
But Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat told reporters that Trump will be just like every other suspected criminal in his jurisdiction.
“It doesn’t matter your status, we’ll have a mug shot ready for you,” he said.
Trump’s lawyer John Eastman was granted a $100,000 bond, lawyer Ray Smith III was granted a $50,000 bond and bail bondsman Scott Hall was granted a $10,000 bond, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported.
