New York City is reeling from President Biden’s weak border policies…

According to an NBC News report, New York City Mayor Eric Adams visited Washington D.C. on Thursday to seek help with the Big Apple migrant crisis; It was Adams’ 10th trip overall to D.C. to discuss the issue.

Adams met with Democratic lawmakers from New York, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.

“As he has done regularly, Senior Advisor Tom Perez met with Mayor Adams to discuss the collaboration of the Biden-Harris Administration with New York City over the recent months,” White House spokesperson Angelo Fernandez Hernandez said in a statement. “We will continue to support the City and the State in the coming weeks and months as they host recently arrived migrants.”

Reporters asked Adams earlier this week if he was going to meet with President Biden.

“Every time I come to D.C. I look forward to seeing the president. The team reached out to coordinate all the meetings that are possible in a short period of time. And we’re going to continue to want to sit down with the president [to] have a conversation over this.”

Biden’s failed border policies have resulted in record-breaking migrant crossings at the southern border and migrant services in major metropolitan areas buckling under the weight.

“New York City needs help,” Adams told reporters after the early round of meetings. “We are all seeing that this is having a major impact on our cities. I’m going to continue to lift my voice, even though I’m losing it, to fight for this city that I truly love.”

New York City has received nearly 155,000 migrants since 2022 —and many of them need living assistance and government resources.
